I first saw the “Sinbad the Sailor 36” here on Retro RC web site, it looked so sweet appealing to my sense of what a classic model looks like. Mark Freeland owner of Retro RC I’ve known for some years, we’d first meet at a Toledo Weak Signals Show, So it was a given that I was going to buy one.
Now I could have ordered one through the post, but where’s the fun in that. Instead, on my next trip to the states, I stopped off at the Toledo Weak Signals Show and picked one up from the man himself.
The Version I've chosen to build was of course the RC with the e’Pod. This would allow me to fly her from a flat field without the need for a tow or bungee. Although the e’Pod can quickly be removed & replaced if the mood takes you.
My full review can be found in the March 2019 RCM&E or on my own wed site, see the link below

The March 19 issue of the RCM&E contains my review of this lovely little flyer. I think this will be one of my go to models for some time to come.
